A Warm Welcome For Groups –

Seaton Tramway is a great day out for all age groups, and even more fun when you're travelling with a like-minded group! We have open toppers and enclosed saloons, giving a comfortable ride. Whatever the weather groups will enjoy a leisurely trip on the Tramway.

The Garden Room at Colyton Station is a great place to enjoy the Tramstop Cafe delights, this separate dining and/or meeting area for groups can seat up to 80 people.

The average seating capacity is around 35 per tram, but several trams can operate together for large groups. There is no extra charge for this - you simply pay the agreed rate per person. Although we can take late bookings, we advise that you reserve well in advance, which allows us to provide a tram exclusively for your use and to cater for any special needs you may have.

It takes half an hour to travel from end to end. We recommend a break at Colyton or Seaton to explore these interesting towns. Colyton station includes the well-stocked shop, which has a wide range of tram-related souvenirs and unique gifts to suit all budgets.

The Tramstop Cafe at Colyton Station offers an extensive menu of hot meals and snacks, a menu can be sent to you on request. Light refreshments, Lunches, Cream Teas, or Dinner can be booked in advance, for example Cream Tea £4.95, Two Course lunch including a drink £14.50, Buffet lunch (min of 12 people) including a drink from £9.95, a cup of tea/coffee and cake £4.95 and Soup & Sandwich including a drink £8.50. NB. Please note that your food MUST be placed at least three days before your trip and a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £25.00 is required if your order exceeds £50.00.

A non-refundable deposit must be taken upon booking. £50 for a return trip. £30 for a single trip
Your booking will not be confirmed until a deposit is made.
Final numbers for your booking are required at least 14 days before your date of travel. You will be invoiced based on this number.
To avoid being charged for the entire trip, please let us know about cancellations a minimum of 48 hours before your departure. Failure to let us know can result in an invoice for the full booking.
All group sizes are welcome to Seaton Tramway.
Group rates start at 12 passengers.
30 passengers or more will allow your group their own tram.
Tram allocations for groups will be made with capacity given 14 days before your date of travel. Please let us know if your group size increases however to ensure we have allocated enough trams, especially if your group number exceeds 50 passengers.
Please inform us of any mobility issues your group may need. i.e. Wheel Chairs, as we only have a max amount of accessible trams we can allocate per trip.
Coach Driver’s and Tour Operators can travel free of charge. Tea and coffee are complimentary too.
Food ordered as part of your group visit.

Please note that your food order MUST be placed at least three days before your trip and a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £25 is required if the order exceeds £50. We will require the payment of any pre-ordered meals cancelled on the day of your visit
There is free parking in the Coach Park opposite our Seaton Station
Colyton Station does have Coach access to our bigger car park opposite our station, however at peak times this car park is not always easy to turn coaches in.
There are additional car parks around Seaton, including the council-operated Underfleet Car Park on the same road our Seaton Station

The above rates are based on one journey, but we can also quote special rates for:

Bird-watching trips along the River Axe (with or without an expert guide).
Birthday specials; all-inclusive packages available.
Corporate entertainment.

Allergen Information

We prepare food in kitchens with products containing gluten and nuts as well as other allergens. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the allergen charts on view in the cafe are correct. We CANNOT guarantee that any product is "100% FREE FROM" any allergen because of the risk of unexpected cross-contamination.

Group Organisers & Coach Drivers bringing at least 20 paying people in a group enjoy FREE TRAVEL.

Advance Booking

For groups of 30 or more paying passengers, a special tram is provided at pre-arranged times. To avoid disappointment, please book at least 14 days in advance.
