Welcome to a Thrilling Year Ahead!

It’s Seaton Tramway’s 55th Anniversary as well as 200 years of Railways in the UK and around the world. Seaton Tramway will be celebrating its 55th Anniversary this summer as it approaches its birthday on 28th August. Railway 200 will also be celebrating 200 years since the birth of passenger railways.

Seaton Tramway is excited to share a packed schedule for 2025, filled with exciting events, unique experiences, and convenient services. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular tramway enthusiast, 2025 has something for everyone. Here’s a look at what’s coming up:

Operating Schedule

Seaton Tramway will be open daily during the following periods:

15th - 23rd February (Half Term)
Every Weekend in March
29th March - 2nd November
27th December - 4th January 2026 (Winter Service)

Timetable and Services

We’ve made it easy for you to plan your visit with our colour-coded service timetable:

Yellow Service: Trams every 20 minutes from 10am to 4pm

15th - 23rd March
29th September - 2nd November

Blue Service: Trams every 20 minutes from 10am to 5pm

29th March - 25th July
1st - 28th September

Pink Service: Trams every 20 minutes from 10am to 5pm (Extra trams may run during peak times)

26th July - 31st August

The Story Tram

All aboard the Story Tram! Every month, take a tram ride from Seaton to Colyton with your little ones and inspire big imaginations with themed stories and action songs. Enjoy puppets, props, fun games, and activities upon arrival at Colyton. Learn more.

Departs at 10am from Seaton Station
Dates: 21st Feb; 7th Mar; 4th Apr; 2nd May; 6th June; 4th July; 1st Aug; 5th Sep; 3rd Oct

The Dinosaur Tram Adventure

Join a specially decorated tram to the Dinosaur Activity Area at Colyton Station. Along the way, enjoy music, stories, and wildlife spotting. Kids receive a goody bag and can participate in exciting activities like a Dino Dig and Fossil Excavation. Learn more.

Departs at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00 (22 spaces)

Pirate Tram

Embark on a swashbuckling adventure aboard the "Seaton Pearl" with Captain Nick. Follow the Axe Estuary to Colyton Station and hunt for pirate booty! Learn more.

The Sensory-Friendly Story Tram

A sensory-friendly version of the popular Story Tram, perfect for those who prefer a quieter, more accommodating environment. Learn more.

Natural Seaton Festival

Celebrate the natural heritage of Seaton with activities, games, live entertainment, and conservation exhibits. A perfect day out for the whole family.

Trick or Treat Tram

Step into a world of enchantment and fun as you embark on a mystic tram ride through a journey filled with pumpkins, ghouls, and delightful surprises.

The Polar Express™ Tram Ride – 28th Nov – 24th Dec

Experience the magic of your favourite Christmas Film, with a tram ride to the North Pole. Enjoy hot chocolate, treats, and a visit to Santa himself. Learn more.
