Bird Watching with Ian Waite

Birdwatching with Ian Waite - 15th April 2018

Despite the wet weather many species seen.

Waders included Dunlin, Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Curlew, Lapwing, Common Sandpiper and Oystercatchers who were providing some amusement with their mating behaviour.

One House Martin and a few Swallows sighted, having just arrived from warmer climes.

Numerous Shelduck were a feature, most in pairs, soon to breed in warmer weather to come.
