Cats Protection Fun Day. Paws a while at Seaton Tramway to help local cats!
Cats Protection’s East Devon Branch in conjunction with Seaton Tramway is hosting a fun day at
Seaton Tramway’s Colyton Station on Sunday July 5 2015. Running from 11am to 3pm, it
promises to be a fun-filled day for all the family. Take a ride on Tram 12 ‘Fluffy’ (normal tram fares
apply) through the beautiful Axe Valley, learn about the work of Cats Protection and meet ‘Harry’
the CP cat and friends, to help make it a Purr-fect day!
Entertainments and attractions include a range of activities such as ‘Find the Cats’ treasure hunt,
‘Pin the tail on the cat’, ’Balloonin Bonkers’ balloon tying, ‘Dizzy Dimples’ Face Painting and more,
as well as gift stalls, cake stall, raffle tickets and tombola to help raise funds for the charity.
A range of refreshments is available to purchase at the Tramway’s Tramstop Café at Colyton.
Sheila Down, the fundraising co-ordinator said: “Our fun day will be a great opportunity to have a
thoroughly enjoyable event as well as supporting the charity which finds new homes for the many
unwanted and abandoned cats that come into its care. So please come along and give us your
support!”
