Summer Fair & Dog Show at Seaton Tramway

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Fair & Dog Show on Sunday 4th June! Although the weather was a little wet, we still had great fun hosting this unique day out with a little something for everyone. 

Once having marvelled at the fantastic Samba Band playing at Seaton Terminus, visitors had the chance to hop aboard our historic trams and travel inland to Colyton Station where there was an old fashioned Summer Fair. Families and children particularly enjoyed entertainment from a Balloon Modeller, a visit from donkeys, William and Harry, from the Donkey Sanctuary, and music on the platform.

Much of the day's excitement centered around the return of the dog show, judged by local grooming business 'The Barking Spa', with help from professional dog sitting service 'Barking Mad'. Judges had a tough time choosing their favourites for various different categories such as 'cutest puppy', 'dog and owner lookalike' and 'waggiest tail'! However, the shining star of the show was Hattie, a 17 month old Dachshund, who won the heart of the judges winning 'Best In Show'.
